The Challenge
Olympia was asked by Stark Enterprises to create a signature hospitality solution to complement the award-winning Crocker Park lifestyle development, which features townhomes, apartments, retail, leisure, and commercial office buildings. This project coincided with the relocation of the international headquarters of American Greetings to the Crocker Park development.
Design & Construction
Olympia adapted the design of the award-winning Hyatt Place Chicago South to fit into the Crocker Park site. Olympia worked with the design team to source locally available façade matierals – terracotta shingle and stainless steel metal panels that are both fabricated in the Midwest - that reduce risks of late deliveries and create a unique façade on the Crocker Park site.
Olympia managed the design review process with Hyatt to ensure a smooth approval process for the client.
Olympia will regularly visit the project site to ensure that the hotel is building constructed per plans and specifications and coordinate with Hyatt on franchise design and construction reviews and oversight.
Olympia managed the specification, procurement and installation process for all FF&E and Owner Direct purchases.
