Hotel History
For over 40 years, Holiday Inn Charlottesville has been serving visitors to Monticello, University of Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Built in the model of the Holiday Inns with classic Great Sign and free food for kids under 12, the hotel has been a welcome respite for travelers on I-64 since 1974.
Revenue Management Responds
A series of well-timed renovations and an evolving sales strategy have kept Holiday Inn Charlottesville near the top of the market in REVPAR performance throughout the years while consistently exceeded Holiday Inn brand averages for service.
As each decade has brought shifts in demand and new hotel supply, the Olympia revenue team has adapted by diversifying the account base that includes UVA travel, tour groups, transportation/construction contracts, sports groups, entertainment crews and of course, leisure travelers.
